"Show ReadOnly Files" causes confusion about Folders
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Any folder with a customization for Windows File Explorer gets a ReadOnly attribute set on it. This doesn't protect the folder from being written at all -- it's an overloaded function Microsoft uses to indicate that File Explorer should pay attention to the hidden Desktop.ini file inside the folder in which there are settings for the format of the directory listing to be displayed, column positions, which media columns to display, etc.

When a user doesn't have "Show ReadOnly Files" checked, they find that some of their folders seem to randomly be excluded.

My instinct is to make folders appear whether they're ReadOnly or not for the current version of Directory Printer.
